Non profit launches fund for surgery of conjoined twins

The Association for training and rural development, ATRUD, a Non profit making organization is fronting a campaign to assist a Cameroonian family that recently had conjoined twins.

It immediately got into action after getting the news from the July 9th edition of The Horizon newspaper.

In about a week, over 300RMB has been raised. Though laudable, ATRUD notes that more needs to be done.

The organisation sent a representative to the family in Yaounde hospital where a team of doctors is examining the state of the kids prior to surgery.

It continues to appeal to people of goodwill to contribute whatever they can to facilitate the separation of the kids.

For contributions or inquiries, contact the parents on 671490130 / 674982214 / 655272963
