A delegation of some prominent traditional rulers of the crisis-hit North West region are currently on a visit in Paris, France.
The delegation is apparently led by His Royal Highness Fon George Ngwashi Ndikum of Akum.
Also present in the team are the Fons of Mankon, Babungo, Nkwen, Bafut and others.
According to the Fon of AKum who expressed himself in the pidgin language, their visit is under the auspices of n organisation known as the Route des Chefferies.
The Fon further explained that this organisation encourages the building of museums in their traditional palaces for the conservation of local arts and to serve as touristic sites.
Yet, most English-speaking Cameroonians are rather seeing a hidden agenda behind the visit.
This feeling is especially emboldened by the Anglophone crisis and taking into consideration the role France plays in Cameroonian politics.
According to our sources, Sylvian Djache Nzeffa, General Coordinator of Route Chefferies was in Cameroon last December 2021 and held talks with the Prime Minister Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute.
