North West House of Chiefs holds ’emergency meeting’ over CPDM reorganisation

The recently created House of Chiefs in the North West region has now become a political structure with strong affiliations to the CPDM rulling party.

The president of the North West House of Chiefs has in a release, convened traditional rulers and ardors in line with the ongoing reorganisation of the CPDM party.

In recent weeks, the ruling Cameroon’s People Democratic Movement, CPDM party, has been reorganising basic organs of the party.

As the CPDM party continues with it’s reorganisation, the president of the North West House of Chiefs has announced meetings with Fons, sub chiefs, Lamidos, Ardos, Sarkis and other traditional authorities regarding the process.

The meeting to take place at the conference hall of the North West regional Assembly has the following program:

– Tuesday 17/08/2021 Mezam
– Thursday 19/08/2021 Momo
– Tuesday 24/08/2021 Menchum
– Thursday 26/08/2021 Donga Mantung
– Tuesday 31/08/2021 Bui
– Thursday 02/09/2021 Ngoketunjia
– Tuesday 07/09/2021 Boyo

Meanwhile, on Thursday September 9, 2021, Lamidos, Ardos, Sarkis of the North West region shall also meet at the same venue.

To ensure a massive turnout from the respective divisions, Members of the House of Chiefs in each division alongside Presidents of divisional Association of Fons were tasked to ensure their presence.
