Apostle Suleman Threatens To Go After Bloggers Who Blackmail Pastors

By Tata Mbunwe

Charismatic Nigerian pastor, Johnson Suleman, has threatened to file law suits against social media bloggers who blackmail men of God through distorted information.

In a video posted on his Facebook page, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries based in Edo State, Nigeria, says anyone who intends to make a fortune by publishing distorted information about him should first pay him.

He claims God spoke to him in April this year saying “if anyone comes after you get justice.”

“I heard this from God and we have gotten lawyers even up to international criminal court. Stop this,” he warned during a recent sermon at his church auditorium.

He warned that bloggers should “take my name off your lips. You cannot use my name or my picture without my permission,” as he added he is entitled to copyrights of his picture and his name, both of which should not be used on social media without his approval.

“Do not put my picture on your channel or on your blog without my consent,” he warned.

Stating that a million propagandist YouTube videos cannot bring down a true man of God, Apostle Suleman said he has been a victim of several social media assault but his life has proven them wrong.

“When anyone wants to open a YouTube channel or have a blog that will sell, one of the strategies to get people attracted, to get lots of views and comments is to attack pastors and I’m one of the major subject matter.”

He however said people are free to talk about him anywhere if what they are saying is true.

“Say Anything About Me, But Don’t Say that I’m Fake. If you want to say anything about me say the truth,” the man of God said, claiming that he recently open the eyes of a blind child.

Speaking on the recent demise of one Nigeria’s most popular televangelists, TB Joshua, Suleman said he was deeply aggrieved by his death.

Johnson Suleman is one of Nigeria’s most vibrant evangelists, and he is often outspoken on issues of relationships, family and youth entrepreneurship.
