Osih, SDF Still In Trauma After Dismal October 7 Outing -Militants Now Want Osih Expelled

Joshua Osih and his Social Democratic Front (SDF) party hierarchy are yet to recover from the political trauma, following the party’s failure to maintain her leading opposition title.

At a time when the party’s dismal performance is still animating national debates, the Mayor of Loum has called for the dismissal of Joshua Osih from the party.

“I strongly condemn the betrayal of the party which is putting the party’s future into jeopardy…we want him to be removed from post of Vice President of the SDF. We also want him expelled from the party…,” Mayor Kuate Wambo Guy said in a release.

It is not known who the Mayor referred to as “we”, but he said the outing of Joshua Osih days ago, during which the SDF flag bearer accepted the victory of Paul Biya, is unacceptable.

The mayor said, the declarations of Joshua Osih are irresponsible and do not align with the party’s principle.
He also urged the SDF party hierarchy, to take its responsibility and guard against such attitude.

The outing of the Mayor of Loum comes weeks after SDF supporters in a press release, called on Joshua Osih to step down as the party’s Vice President after the party obtained 3.35% in the just ended presidential election in Cameroon.

The party’s performance and perspective will be discussed during an extraordinary NEC meeting of the SDF, Saturday November 3 in Yaoundé.
