“Our Society Today”

Cameroon is plagued by a myriad of societal ills and challenges, many of which have been reading their ugly heads these past weeks.

Author, Metsatedem B. Russel addresses these ills in a series of literary works, titled “Our Society Today”.

The work is adapted for all classes of people. The book seeks to inspire change in minds, lives and society.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

METSATEDEM B. RUSSEL, 18, was born on the 24th of April 2002 in Kumba, Southwest Region of Cameroon. He studied in Saint Bede’s College Ashing-Kom and GBHS Mbalmayo, where he obtained his Ordinary Level and Advanced Level respectively.

Currently a student at the University of Buea, studying for a B.A in PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS(PVA). He is also an inspirational speaker who discovered his Talent and Passion for writing in 2019.


Bothered by the ills in society, he chose to address them how he knows best, by writing a book – OUR SOCIETY TODAY.

He describes the work as not just an ordinary book of stories to entertain, but a summation of some spoken word poems, write-ups and articles meant to inspire, change minds, lives and the society.
