Many have called for the arrest and prosecution of prison superintendent, Njoya Aboubakar and a lady believed to be his sister, for torturing kids.

The prison administrator was pictured in a video believed to have been shot in Foumbot, West region, torturing some kids mercilessly with the use of his belt.

Among his two victims, was a girl with reduced mobility. Yelling at the kids in his native language, the native of Baba 1 in Ngoketunjia Division threatens to kill them.

He also asks the young boy in the video to refund the money he has spent on him as school fees.

Backed by a lady believed to be his sister, the Superintendent says the kids killed his mother.

In the disturbing footage, Njoya Aboubakar calls another individual believed to be his relative on phone, and threatens to give them the same treatment if they dare him.

The kids, Mimi Mefo Info gathered, belong to a relative caught up in the war in the North West and South West regions.

Due to the nature of the conflict as well as the difficulties being faced, the parents sent them to the Superintendent, for the time being.

Instead of catering for them as his own, sources close to the family say the Prison administrator continues to torture them, accusing them of killing his mother.

His mother is said to have died a month ago. Prior to her death, she visited him in Foumbot and was taking care of the kids, but passed away subsequently.

“Because of the respect he used to give his mother, he used to be nice to them but now that the mother is dead, it has exposed what he might have been doing in secret,” the source says.

He adds that “now that his mother is not alive, he has proven it without doubt”.
