Paris-based Cameroonian restaurant owner found dead in Douala while on visit

A Paris-based Cameroonian restaurant owner called Celine has been found dead in Douala, Littoral Region of Cameroon.

Celine was visiting the country when the unfortunate incident happened.

Reports say she was found dead in her apartment with swollen feet on Monday, January 9, 2023.

Celine owned an African restaurant in Paris, France and was just from inaugurating another restaurant described by many as ‘classic’ in Douala.

Many have attributed her sudden death to poisoning — though findings are still underway.

It has been rampant for many Cameroonian diaspora visiting home to fall victim of poisoning.
