One of Cameroon’s leading opposition parties, the Social Democratic Front, SDF, has embarked on a national tour to remobilize, rebuild and reconcile its members.
The tour is expected to take the party’s national chairman, Ni John Fru Ndi to all 58 divisions of the country, Cameroon.
The national tour was launched July 18, 2021 in Mbouda, Bamboutos division of the West region of Cameroon.
After the successful launch, SDF’s Secretary General, Senator Jean Tsomelou in a communique signed July 28, 2021 congratulated comrades and party officials in the Bamboutos division for their mobilization.
Senator Jean Tsomelou in the communique also transmitted to them Chairman’s John Fru Ndi encouragements at a time when the country is going through a lot of challenges.
Ni John Fru Ndi also exhorted all the party comrades to work in the spirit of peace, unity and the return to their fundamentals in line with the original SDF.
Regarding the reorganization of the party structures as prescribed by the National Executive Committee, NEC, Senator Jean Tsomelou reminded party officials that the reorganization process should be done within a two-month deadline.
The national tour also took the party officials to Foumbam in the Noun division, Bandjoun in the Koung-Khi and Bafoussam in the Mifi division.
