Payunit to ease app payment integration

After much brainstorming, a group of Cameroonian developers have produced a cross-payment aggregator to ease online payment procedures.

Currently the most simplified cross payment aggregator for online merchants in Cameroon, Payunit seamlessly manages and processes online payments for applications and websites.

Coming at a time when online merchants including software developers, website owners, entrepreneurs, and enterprises have been clamoring for a trustworthy and technically up to task cross payment aggregator in Cameroon, its creators say it targets a number of challenges.

These include developers’ difficulties in integrating payment options on their apps; lack of proper documentation for few existing payment aggregators in Cameroon and the technically limited scope of the few existing payment aggregators.

Key benefits Payunit users stand to gain include ease of integration as the system is built to utmost simplicity.

In addition to more documentation meant to enable the ease to use for all online merchants, the system has more specifications and the user experience for the end-user whether tech-savvy or not is hassle free.

According to the project leader, Akah Harvey, “… the promise of the Payunit platform is to deliver on unique user experience without sacrificing the accessibility to different PSPs (Payment Service Providers) across Africa”.

“… Keeping in touch with developers and local entrepreneurs, we believe we are better placed to understand and translate their worries into useful solutions that are plug-n-play” Akah Harvey adds.

Payunit prior to its pre-launch, was already boasting of over 30 users, numbers which keep rising.

Consequently, a merchant fee discount has been set for the first 200 users in the next 3months.
