As the race for the presidency of Cameroon starts today September 22, 2018, the 9 candidates are expected to be on the field to woo voters who will be expected to cast their votes come October 7th 2018.
In the North West Region, the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement of incumbent Paul Biya will be launching their first campaign rally in the region amidst growing insecurity. The CPDM campaign manager, Philemon Yang, is expected to conduct the exercise in Bamenda and other parts of the North West region.
In the meantime, an “opposition” member, El Hadj Lawan Bako of the United Democratic Party, has declared for the CPDM presidential candidate, Paul Biya. He will be launching campaigns to support the CPDM alongside his party members.
