A lady in Kumba who goes by the name Makia Pauline Bisong has forwarded a letter of complaint against Mama Nash Lingeh, a police officer who happens to be her neighbor.
According to the testimony given by Makia Pauline, the police officer attacked her right inside her house, threatening that he will kill her and nothing will happen to him. The policeman is one of the elements of the Kumba Central Police Station.
“I was home yesterday when Mama Nash bashed inside and held me aggressively. He accused me of summoning Camwater agents to cut water supply from his house,” she said.
“He then proceeded to beating me up mercilessly, tearing my clothes from my skin and stripped me naked. He told me it was not over and that he was going to deal with me in the compound. He said he will kill me and that nothing will happen to him because he is a policeman,” she added.
After the incident, the victim was taken to the hospital where she was given the necessary medical attention to stop her bleeding wounds.
A complaint against the police officer has already been sent to the Kumba Central Police, the Police de Police in Buea, and the Regional Delegate for National Security in Buea.
