CPDM militant, André Luther Meka has implored Cameroonians to be thankful and proud for having a president with two Honoris Causa Doctorates.

The title of Doctor Honoris Causa is one of the most prestigious distinctions awarded by universities to honor personalities of foreign nationality for outstanding services rendered in a particular field.

“Doctor Paul Biya is one of the few presidents in Africa to have two Honoris Causa Doctorates. The first was awarded by the University of Maryland in the USA in 1992, and the second doctorate was awarded in 2019 by the Pan African Institute for Development in Applied Sciences of Development (IPD) received from the hands of Dr Dion Ngute, Prime Minister”.

“… Dr Paul Biya is also a former honorary professor at Beijing University. His expertise is recognized worldwide in the most restricted circles of Science. Africa and the whole world await his memories to enlighten future generations,” the politician wrote on his Facebook page as reported by Actu-Cameroon.
