Cameroon cup finalists, PWD of Bamenda are currently fine-tuning their strategies ahead of the finals of the competition where they will face Les Astres of Douala.
The team officials say they are paying attention to the attacking compartment which according to them if well utilized, will enable them clinch the trophy for the first time.
It’s been close to seven months of anticipation for the finals of the cup of Cameroon.
To PWD’s lead trainer, David Pagou, the team has been working tirelessly during this long period of wait as if the finals were to be played the next weekend.
PWD’s technical director, Tama Wango highlights that all members of his team are working on the defensive, offensive, and penalty shootout.
The Abakwa Boys as they are fondly called have been involved in a series of friendlies with other local clubs in the North West and say they will leave for Yaounde once the final is announced.
Meanwhile, the team management
and the fans have committed themselves to better supporting the team this coming season.
Local administrators and supporters of PWD are already making travel arrangements for fans to accompany the team to Yaounde on D- day
