Muslim faithfuls in Buea, Southwest Region of
Cameroon, have been called upon to embrace values like peace, tolerance and forgiveness as they celebrate the Ramadan feast.
The call was made by the Imam of Buea Central Mosque, Alhadji Mohamed Abubakar, during prayers to end their 29-day fasting.
Hundreds of Muslims gathered at Buea Town
Stadium where they prayed calling on Allah to pour his peace and blessings on Cameroon.
The Ramadan feast was announced last night after Muslim authorities spotted the long-awaited Holy Moon of Ramadan, which usually signals the end of their 30-day fasting.
