Relative Calm in Limbe After the Killing of 2 Soldiers at Mile 4 Police Station

Amba Boys attack a Limbe police station and kill two officers

An attack at the 3rd district police in Mile 4 Limbe early today has claimed the lives of two police inspectors.

The attack according to reports was masterminded by Amba boys.

The victims, Mbatang and Mbailesseng were promoted into the ranks of police inspectors in 2016.

One of the officers, a woman who sustained bullet injuries, succeeded to escape and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

Some weapons were carried away by the intruders. An attempt to set the Mile 4 police station on fire proved futile.

A relative calm now reigns in the area.

The DO for Limbe 1, Epale Seraphin, has been on an assessment mission to the police station.
