Renowned Cameroonian comedian Blaise Kalaba, four others die in road accident

Another renowned comedian by name Blaise Kalaba has perished in a ghastly road accident alongside four other persons.

The accident occurred at about 3 a.m. this morning, Friday, July 14, 2023 in Baré, a small town in the Moungo Division, Littoral Region of Cameroon.

According to sources, the accident involved a General Express travel agency bus and a Yarris private car.

Five other persons said to be in critical condition have been transported to a nearby health facility for medical attention.

Blaise Kalaba was known for his short comedy videos posted on his Facebook page. 

Trained by the academy of Valéry Ndongo, he performed at various events, both official and private.

His death comes shortly after that of two renowned comedians, Cabrel Nanjip and Samy Lenwr. Both equally died following road accidents.
