Rigobert Song visits ailing former Indomitable Lions’ coach Jean Paul Akono

The coach of the Indomitable Lions’ of Cameroon, Rigobert Song paid a visit to Jean-Paul Akono on Wednesday afternoon.

Song visited the former coach who is unwell — with two of his collaborators: Augustine Simo, assistant coach, and Thierry Ndo, team press officer of the Lions A.

Latest reports have it that Jean-Paul Akono’s health is improving.

He has been bedridden for months, amid reports of limited finance to cater for his medical bills.

The minister of sports, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi also visited Akono in the hospital, a few weeks ago.
