“Romeo Dika is an ungrateful person who today is accusing and condemning those who made him who he is” – Chantal Ayissi

Amongst other things that Chantal Ayissi accused Louise Romeo Dika of, are claims of fraud which had almost landed him in prison had it not been for the timely intervention of the First Lady, Chantal Biya, whose family he has now completely disregarded.

Chantal Ayissi made these claims in an interview with CRTV journalist Serge Pouth Yesterday September 16, 2020 in a Facebook livestream. The musician join her voice to the Deputy Secretary General of the CPDM party, Gregoire Owna, by giving counter offensive claims to those Romeo Dika made to the CPDM party and the Head of States, H.E Paul Biya.

Romeo Dika had accused President of Paul Biya of denying paying him benefits to services to the ruling party CPDM worth 90Million FCFA over a 16 years period. Romeo Dika called the president unreliable and not worthy of leading the Cameroonian people, even going further by saying popular opposition leader Maurice Kamto would make a better president than Biya.

The accusations have now caused fellow musician, Chantal Ayissi to jump to the president’s defence by saying Romeo Dika is being ungrateful and underserving of such presidential honours.

“Romeo Dika is an ungrateful person who accuses and condemns today those who made him what he is… A few years ago he implicated us in a matter of money obtained with the help of forged signatures. Had it not been for the generosity of mother Chantal Biya, he would be languishing in prison today…” claimed the musician.

She went further by claiming that Romeo Dika sponged off her and her fortunes to equally make a name for himself in the music industry in Cameroon, contrary to what many people may think.

“If Romeo Dika is settled in Yaounde today, it is thanks to me. Many think that it is Romeo Dika who pulled me out of the hole. That is not true. Rather he took advantage of my family’s largesse to survive, and when I found out who he really was, I left him” she ranted during the interview.
