Row over FECAFOOT mandate: Eto’o and Co deserve a chance – Cameroonian reacts

As debates on the extended mandate of FECAFOOT’s executives continue, a football lover and concerned Cameroonian says Eto’o and his team deserve “to be given a chance.”

In a detailed analysis to MMI, he says Eto’o and Co have been able to achieve more than any FECAFOOT leadership has ever accomplished “in the life of Cameroon football.”

He writes:
“I think it is possible to extend the term of office to 7 years. Eto’o needs more years to achieve his dreams. He has engaged in the construction of many stadia, the payment and registration of players in the social insurance fund, CNPS. He needs more time for that.”

“Let’s give him a chance, because I think Eto’o has and will achieve a lot in the life of Cameroon football.”

He continues that: “He has been able to construct stadia, increasing salary of players both first division, second division and female championship.”

“There is already a plan to build a modern stadium in kumba.”

“We understand our country very well. He has removed food from those in the minister’s entourage so, they built a block against him. Including some members of his executive. Who no longer eat as before. He deserves a chance.”
