Russia has said its fighter jet accidentally bombed the city of Belgorod near the border with Ukraine.
Two women were injured and several buildings were damaged as a result.
A Su-34 fighter-bomber jet accidentally discharged aircraft ordnance, the defence minister in Moscow said.
The incident took place at 22:15 local time (19:15 GMT) on Thursday, Russian news agencies said. An investigation is under way.
