Sacred Heart College Ex-Students Association picks new president

He is retired CRTV journalist Ngobesing Suh Romanus.

He was elected over the weekend in Bamenda during the elective general assembly of the Sacred Heart College Ex-Students Association.

After his election, he said he will focus on addressing the water problems in the institution.

“We are going to make the school feel the presence of the ex-students so that they should know that we appreciate and we enjoyed in Sacred Heart.”

“We will make sure that the younger ones enjoy it as well,” newly elected Ngobesing Suh Romanus said.

He disclosed that the principal has told them what they need and they will work towards providing the needs which are principally water.

The Catholic-run Sacred Heart College in Mankon, Bamenda founded in 1961 and is reputed for academic excellence. The academic establishment has flourished even in crisis times as student enrollment figures continue to hit more than 800.

The expansion comes with challenges of infrastructure and the provision of basic needs.
