Samuel Eto'o announces a FIFA donation of $6.5 Million to FECAFOOT

The President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) Samuel Eto’o has announced that FIFA has decided to award the sum of $6.5 million to the Fecafoot (Cameroonian Football Federation) under the FIFA Forward 3.0 programme.
The Former Cameroonian international says the money will be used for football development including the construction of two local stadiums in Cameroon, one in the capital city of Yaounde and the other in the coastal city of Douala. The stadiums will be used to host local football matches and other sporting events.
Samuel Eto’o, also said that he was “very pleased” with FIFA’s decision to award the funding. He said that the money would “help to improve the standard of football in Cameroon” and “provide a much-needed boost to the local economy.”
MMI has also gathered that part of the funds will be used for administrative affairs.
The FIFA Forward.3 program is a long-term funding initiative that aims to support the development of football around the world. The program provides funding for a range of projects, including the construction of stadiums, the development of youth football, and the training of coaches.
