Samuel Eto’o, President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), became the center of attention overshadowing the presence of government Ministers at the FENASSCO A games launching in Limbe today.

He was among several dignitaries present at Government High School Mile 2, Limbe, where the Olympic monument of the FENASSCO games was unveiled.

The ceremony marked the official launch of the 24th edition of the FENASSCO A Games, hosted in the seaside city of Limbe, also known as the “Town of Friendship and Opportunities.”

The event was graced by the presence of Minister of Secondary Education, Prof. Nalova Lyonga, and Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, who handed the Olympic flames to the Limbe City Mayor, Paul Efome Ngale.

Eto’o arrived at the ceremonial ground after the two ministers and the South West Governor, Bernard Okalia Bilai, had arrived.

His arrival stirred the crowd into a frenzy of excitement and admiration.

As he emerged from his vehicle, cheers erupted, and the atmosphere was electrified by the sheer enthusiasm of the spectators.

His gentle wave at the crowd elicited a wave of applause and jubilation, drowning out any other semblance of attention.

Although Eto’o remained silent throughout the proceedings, his aura and charisma spoke volumes, captivating the hearts of all present.

As he gracefully acknowledged the crowd with waves and greetings, the adulation for him soared to new heights.

Even when it was time for him to depart the venue, the chants of praise and admiration continued, underscoring the profound impact of his presence on the gathering.

The spotlight unequivocally belonged to Eto’o, blurring the significance of the distinguished government officials in attendance.

Amidst tight security, Samuel Eto’o was heavily guarded as he exited the venue at the close of the ceremony.

The FENASSCO A Games, themed “School Games, a Guarantee of Peace and Sustainable Development,” will kick off tomorrow at Ngeme Stadium in Limbe.
