Samuel Eto’o, President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), became the center of attention overshadowing the presence of government Ministers at the FENASSCO A games launching in Limbe today.
He was among several dignitaries present at Government High School Mile 2, Limbe, where the Olympic monument of the FENASSCO games was unveiled.
The ceremony marked the official launch of the 24th edition of the FENASSCO A Games, hosted in the seaside city of Limbe, also known as the “Town of Friendship and Opportunities.”
The event was graced by the presence of Minister of Secondary Education, Prof. Nalova Lyonga, and Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, who handed the Olympic flames to the Limbe City Mayor, Paul Efome Ngale.
Eto’o arrived at the ceremonial ground after the two ministers and the South West Governor, Bernard Okalia Bilai, had arrived.
His arrival stirred the crowd into a frenzy of excitement and admiration.

The FENASSCO A Games, themed “School Games, a Guarantee of Peace and Sustainable Development,” will kick off tomorrow at Ngeme Stadium in Limbe.
