The recent shake up within the Social Democratic Front, SDF Party by the National Chairman, Ni John Fru Ndi has been unpopular among the party bigwigs, who have demanded for an annulment of the decision by the chairman.

At least 27 members of the party, including some vice presidents have criticised the chairman’s shakeup, and called on the replaced members to be maintained in their positions till the end of their mandates.

This defiant message is contained in a text released today by the 27 members of the party, following a meeting held in Mbouda, in the West Region to address the bombshell actions taken by the chairman over a week ago.

The chairman has been urged to immediately annul his decisions. Failure to do so, they warned, will cause them to take drastic actions to save the image of the party.

Among a list of demands also made by the party leaders, is the holding of an urgent National Executive Meeting, NEC where the dates of an extraordinary Congress that will see the election of a new chairman of the party.

Some of the signatories to this letter include Senator Tchatchouang Paul (2nd National Vice President), Mr. Nkemlemo Denis (National Secretary for Communication), Honorable Jean Michele Nitcheu (SDF Littoral Regional President) and Barrister Lavoisier Tsapi among others.
