The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Social Democratic Front, (SDF) has held its first meeting since the passing of the party’s founder and Chairman, Ni John Fru Ndi.

Ni John Fru Ndi died on the night of June 12th, 2023, following a protracted illness.

The meeting on Saturday June 24, 2023 was chaired by the SDF first Vice President, Joshua Osih.

Dozens of party officials and members were in attendance. Top on the agenda, was how to give the late chairman a befitting burial.

Fru Ndi has been described as the father of Cameroon’s democracy. He died, aged, 81.
