Separatist Fighters Kill One In Bamenda

A bang of separatist fighters are said to have shot to death one person in the Meta Quarter neighbourhood in Bamenda, Mezam division of the North West region. The incident is said to have happened Sunday March 20.

Reports say the heavily armed men stormed a drinking spot in that part of the town asking for those inside to support the Amba struggle. Those who were there are said to have gave what they had.

The boys reportedly left the beer palour and few minutes later, gun shots were heard.

After the gunshots had subsided, information started circulating that someone had been shot and killed. It is still to be determined if the guns were aimed at the person killed or he was hit by a stray bullet.
