In a release, the Ambazonia Self defence council, ASC said it didn’t recognize the commanders who said they had laid down their weapons and are calling for a federation.
“pictures and videos of purported Ambazonia Generals and Commanders attending Biya’s so called “National Dialogue” are staged. All FAKE!” The notice read.

“What you are seeing is another effort and an attempt by Mr. Paul Biya and his henchmen to manipulate and deceive our people and the international community as they have been doing for decades. Don’t fall for it” it added.

It’s position the ASC maintained, is the release of of Ayuk Tabe and others arrested and sentenced with him. Any call for dialogue without their release it stated, “is not acceptable to us”.

Others however maintain that the five commanders from Fako are genuine and have been fighting in the bushes.

“The five guys are confirmed amba fighters” a source told MMI.
“They were builders around our locality before embracing the struggle” the source added.

The five according to the national dialogue spokesperson, George Ewane will be included in the process that ends today.
