Sextape scandal: Martin Camus Mimb and Wilfred Eteki detained

Popular Sports Journalist, Martin Camus Mimb and his friend Wilfred Eteki are today spending their second day in detention following a sextape leak featuring teenager, Malicka Bayemi.

The pair was arrested yesterday by the Douala Regional Judicial Police in Bonanjo. According to media reports, they were taken in after a hearing from the teenage victim, Malicka Bayemi.

They are also expected to be presented today to the Public Prosecutor. The arrest comes amidst a tirade of attacks by Bayemi’s lawyers who claimed that the Public Prosecutor was doing nothing to the victim got the justice she deserved for having her nudity leaked out on social media by the two men.

It should be made known equally that Martin Camus Mimb had already called for a Press conference where he publicly asked for forgiveness from the victim, his wife and from his children.

Many including Malicka Bayemi’s father said the cryptic apology had changed nothing since he still hadn’t admitted whether he violated the girl or not.

The girl on her part maintains that she was asked forced to sleep with both men in Martin Camus Mimb’s office while it was being recorded, a tape which later got leaked by the other actor, Wilfred Eteki whom Camus had previously denied knowing.
