Man allegedly tortures pregnant wife to death in Tombel

There is mourning in Tombel, South West region following the death of a young pregnant woman named Dione.

She was allegedly brutalised by her husband who disregarded her condition.

Reports say despite her inability to move, the husband failed to seek health care for her.

She was later rushed to hospital where she would give up the ghost.

The whereabouts of her partner remain unknown at the time of this report.

The recent happening has once more raised cries against domestic violence, with a social media campaign.

No arrests have been made yet – and many are however questioning why government is yet to make any moves on the recent happening.
