Judicial honors have been conferred on the late Senator Barrister Kemende Henry who was assassinated last January 11, 2022, in Bamenda.

At the North West court of appeal were his colleagues, the North West administration, and loved ones who gathered to bid him farewell. The Barrister at Law was described as an astute lawyer and politician who did not compromise in the face of injustice.

The representative of the President of the Cameroon Bar for the North West, Barrister Eric Mbah says though they celebrate the legacy of the late Barrister Kemende, they regret how he died.

The late Barrister Kemende was described as a very intelligent and courageous lawyer who at all moments said it the way it is supposed to be said and not the way people wanted it to be said.

“He attempted and made his contributions to the sands of time by providing a few books which his younger colleagues are using”, Barrister Eric Mbah said.

The late Senator Barrister Kemende Henry was very vocal in the senate especially when the interest of the people is at hand, reason why some of his colleagues described him as an advocate par excellence.

Barrister Eric Mbah described how their colleague died as an insult and provocation to them and demanded that ongoing investigations be hastened.

Late Barrister Senator Kemende Henry will be buried this Friday in his native Balikumbat village in the Ngoketunjia division, North West region.
