Four people were shot dead this Thursday in Bachou Ntai Village in Mamfe Centre, Manyu Division of Cameroon’s South West Region. Senator Nfor George Tabetando is chief of Bachou Ntai village and head of the CPDM Group at the Senate.

A source told Mimi Mefo info that elements of the national defence forces stormed the house of Pa Ako Tanyi, pulled him out with his two sons ( we got the name of one of them as Gerald) and gunned them down.
It remains unknown what their crime was but witnesses told Mimi Mefo info that they were unarmed and even asleep when military invaded their house.

AkoTanyi was still putting on his wrapper which was his night outfit as he went to bed.

Another man whose name we got as coach Dounga was also shot dead in the raid.

“When you kill an entire family and still talk of a united and democratic Cameroon, who are you fooling?….these are young, innocent and dynamic youths whose lives have just been wasted…where are we driving to?” A villager in Ntai Bachou who opted for anonymity lamented.

Another victim who was shot is currently receiving treatment in hospital.

Ntai Bachou has been hit by series of onslaught between Security forces and pro-independence fighters recently.
The government is yet to react to the series of killings witnessed in the area.

This came few hours before the shooting to death of seven unarmed civilians in Buea Thursday.
