The body of a 15-year-old who was reported missing by South African police has been found.
On March 8, 2023, Karabo Monyama, 15, was discovered buried in a shallow grave in the backyard of her boyfriend in Cyferskuil, North West, South Africa.
Karabo was reported missing on 5 March when she left home to watch soccer at a nearby field. She, however, never came back. After the match, she supposedly was seen walking with her 23-year-old lover by residents of the area.
On the day Karabo’s body was discovered, the boyfriend was taken into custody and charged with murder, perjury, and thwarting the course of justice. The boyfriend allegedly admitted to burying Karabo in a little grave.
