Julius Sello Malema, a prominent South African politician, and activist who is also a Member of Parliament has condemned the killing of school children in Cameroon’s restive South West region.
In a press conference today aired on ENCA TV in South Africa, Malema went further to accuse the President Paul Biya regime of ongoing violence in Cameroon and urged Cameroonians not to relent.
“….We condemn the killing of school children which continues to be led by illegitimate puppet of France, Paul Biya”.
The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters, a South African political party said; “All Africans should disassociate from state-sponsored violence like in Nigeria and Cameroon,” adding that “The youths of Nigeria must not retreat in their militancy, and must fight until victory”.
Malema believes Cameroon needs an inclusive power change. For that to happen, youths have to play a vital role he adds.
“The people of Cameroon must rise against the puppet regime of Paul Biya and usher in a dispensation that will respect all people of Cameroon including those that come from Ambazonia”.
On October 24, 2020, Saint Francisca International Bilingual Academy was attacked in Fiango, Kumba. The attackers who came aboard motorbikes killed seven children and injured a dozen others.
A nationwide campaign to end the four-year-long Anglophone crisis has intensified across Cameroon and beyond.
