Seven Catholic Christians are reported to have died in a fatal road accident in Akak-Mekom, a locality in the South West Region of Cameroon.
The Christians were reportedly on their way to a congress in a nearby town on the evening of February 15, 2023, when they were involved in the tragic incident.
Seven persons died on the spot while several others sustained severe injuries.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention while the bodies of the deceased were transported to the morgue.
