South Region: Student dies as tree collapses, falls into classroom

A student is reported to have died after a tree collapsed and fell into a classroom in Biwong Bulu, precisely in Biba 2, South Region of Cameroon.

The tragic incident took place on Monday, January 30, 2023, in the Biwong public school.

The collapse according to reports equally left three other students severely injured.

State media reported that, “The injured were taken to Biwong Hospital, where they are receiving treatment.”

Meanwhile, the corpse of the young student was taken to the mortuary, pending burial.
