The 2013 batch of ENS Bambili English Modern Letter students has paid tribute to late Professor, Shadrach A. Ambanasom.
They describe the writer as a Witty Mentor, penning an emotional piece in his memory.
“Go and rest in peace Achamba. Extend our regards to Fonlon and tell him that you left only a few genuine intellectuals behind. Also, tell Asong that we have become strangers in our Homeland, with no one to hear our cry. Do not forget to inform Butake that palm wine has continued to flow in this family saga. Let Anne Tanyi Tang know that Marinuelle is still visiting America. Remind Bate Besong that we have been reduced to beasts of no nation. And finally, let Tah Protus know that the seeds he left behind will forever be immortal.”
Shadrach A. Ambanasom died on Friday, August 28th, 2020 in the hands of his son and caretaker.
