“Summoned through a phone call, abandoned at SED for four hours, asked to return tomorrow Friday” – Ayah Ayah Abine, President Ayah Foundation

The President of Ayah Humanitarian Foundation is to return to the Secretariat of State for Defence (SED) in Yaounde on Friday, February 21, 2020.

Ayah Ayah Abine spent over four hours at SED today following a convocation.”I was summoned on phone by a lady’s voice (which is already against the law) to be at SED today Thursday, February 20, 2020. On reaching there, I spent over four hours waiting. Then I was called for interrogation,” Ayah Ayah Abine explained to Mimi Mefo Info on the line to Yaounde.

Questioned on the subject of his interrogation, Ayah Ayah Abine says “I was told that a certain Dr. Nkongho Success and General Nambere have filed a complaint against Ayah Humanitarian Foundation (which I am the President ) on accusation that the Foundation has been supplying arms to boys fighting for the restoration of Ambazonia statehood in the anglophone regions.”Upon announcing the reason for summoning him at SED, Ayah Ayah Abine was asked to retire home and return on Friday February 21 for further interrogation.

The President of Ayah Humanitarian Foundation regrets that complaints the Foundation filed against some individuals and some media organs for defamation and the spread of fake news against the the activities of Ayah Foundation have not been given due consideration yet “… I am already being interrogated for a complaint filed by those spreading the fake news. I think this tells volumes about Cameroon judicial system,” he adds in total dismay.

S a spirit of hope and reassurance, Ayah Ayah Abine says with a clear conscience, he will answer the call at SED on Friday.
