Suspect Behind Labour Day IED Detonation In Bamenda Detained

A young man by name Herbert Abanda has been arrested by government forces in Bamenda accused of detonating an Improvised Explosive Device IED, May first, 2022.

At the moment, iis not clear if he has confessed to carrying out the act or not.

The locally made explosive that went off on Sunday April 1, 2022 didn’t hurt anyone. It however is now one of many attacks if the sort to characterise the North West Region since the Anglophone crisis escalated into an armed conflict.
