Suspected Separatist fighters in Ngokentunjia division in the North west region of Cameroon have exposed a body of a man beheaded in Bamunka village Monday August 10th 2020.

In an audio message circulating on the social media, the voice identifying himself as ‘General’ Fire claims responsibility of killing the man identified as Peter Njakah Chuisih.

According to the separatist fighters, Peter Njakah Chuisih was a member of the vigilante group working closely with the mayor of Ndop council; Ntoh Daniel and the senior divisional officer of Ngokentunjia division; Konghe Handerson.

“Peter Njakah Chuisih reported the people of Bamunka to the military. He was a black leg. We have to kill him to show example to others that are collaborating with the military and the government of La Republic”. General Fire has stated in his audio message to the people of Ndop.

Peter Njakah Chuisih was kidnapped at about 7:30 pm Sunday 9th August 2020 by separatist fighters.A source in Ndop has told Mimi Mefo Info that the boys used a woman to lure the victim to where he was kidnapped.

The fighters have therefore issued threats of attack of any church or pastor that announces plans of reconstruction and school reopening in the division. They have promised to kill any religious leader and shutdown a church where such comments are made.

In a similar threat, the boys have planed to henceforth target nightwatch men in the division.

Authorities in Ngokentunjia division have not issued any official statement on this.
