Suspected Amba boys kidnap Imam of Baba 1 central mosque, brother

Armed men suspected to be Amba fighters in Baba 1, a village in Babessi sub division, Ngoketunja division of the North West region,have reportedly abducted Musa Tita,Imam the Baba 1 central mosque.

He was abducted alongside his brother,MMI has gathered.

They were whisked off in the evening of Tuesday May 17th 2022,a source told MMI.

“it has been three days and reasons for their kidnap has not been made known”,the source said adding that “all attempts to see or even talk with the victims have failed”

Pointing fingers at the fighters loyal to one ‘General Shao Mao’ for carrying out the act,the source said they got intelligence that the abducted Imam has been in bad shape since abduction.

“One of the fighters hinted us that the Imam has not been in good health since he was abducted and held captive with his brother” the source furthered.

The Muslim community of Baba 1 has since been pleading for the release of their spiritual leader.
