The shocking state of ‘luxury’ travel in Cameroon

Passengers of Mondial Travel Agency plying the Yaounde-Buea road have reached out to Mimi Mefo Info Team complaining about the “extreme” poor state of their 70-seater buses.

“I am at the Mondial agency now in Yaounde, about to travel to Buea. The bus is very old an outdated. From the car itself to the chairs, and all they do is to collect money, and they can’t even put an effort to maintain it,” a passenger complained.

Our source said it is inadmissible that traveling from Yaounde to Buea via this agency costs 7000 FCFA, and the state of the bus is “unbearable.”

“We cannot pay this much and sit on such filthy chairs, this is witchcraft,” added the source.
