Three allegedly killed in election rerun violence

Three people have been reported dead in Alachu-Mankon Bamenda following the legislative election rerun in some parts of Southern Cameroons.

They include; “an Ambazonian fighter and two government soldiers, ” says a source in Mankon.

“The corpse is still lying by the road, there is a cable line tied around his body, ” added the source referring to the Amba fighter.

Minister Atanga Nji this evening how ever made no mention of the incident, stating that the entire process went on hitch-free.

Separatists and soldiers have been involved in fierce gun battles as the former vowed the legislative election rerun will not happen.

Locals have been indoors.
