Three persons reportedly shot dead by the Cameroonian army have been laid to rest in Semndzen, a locality in Nseh Village, North West Region.
Residents say the three males were shot dead by members of the country’s defense force last Sunday.
“They (soldiers) just came and shot the palm wine tappers dead,” says a local.
“The tappers,” he explained, “went to tap palm wine early in the morning and the soldiers shot three of them”.
The victims were laid to rest shortly after the incident.
The tappers add to the list of thousands of civilians killed in the four-year-long war.
