Territorial Administration Minister, Paul Atanga Nji has threatened to sanction teachers who have urged their peers to protest poor working conditions. Terming the u unions illegal, he has stated that those spearheading the movements will be arrested and made to face the heavy hand of the law.





The World Health Organisation has pressed for the training and employment of more midwives to curb infant mortality. It made the plead during this year’s International Day of the Midwife. The shortage of midwives, it noted, is largely responsible for the demise of a million newborns monthly.
