One hundred and fifty people have received the COVID-19 Vaccine in the Upper Sanaga Division of Cameroon. The statistics were given to Dr. Manaouda Malachie, minister of public health today during a visit in the Division. The Minister noted that some health workers have so far vehemently refused to take the vaccine as they doubt its effectiveness.


The number of teenage inmates at the Kumba Central Prison is on the rise as the Anglophone crisis persists. Officials of the Divisional Delegation of Social Affairs in Meme Division have donated food stuffs and other materials to the kids to mark the Day of the African Child. Prison administrators say drug is the major cause of deviant behaviour that lead children to prisons.


Members of the national Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism have called on media practitioners to ensure that hate speech stops. Ama Tutu Muna, one of the members of the commission made the call in Douala today.


Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle has regretted that most educated people in high positions in Cameroon are corrupt and unjust. The member of the national commission for the promotion of bilingualism and multiculturalism in a sensitisation seminar told reporters that Cameroonians need to change their mentality of injustices and corruption for a better Cameroon.


Four military men were killed in Bui division in the North West region in a one month military operation code named “Keep Bui Clean”, General Nka Valère has said. He adds that several separatists were killed and amunitions seized. He has called on the population to continue collaborating with civilians for a return to peace.

A police officer is confirmed to have been killed in Otu village, South West region by Ambazonia fighters. Their convoy was was ambushed while on transit and a gun battle ensued which lasted for over 30 minutes.
