Over a dozen families have been rendered homeless in Buea Town quarter, South West region of Cameroon. Their houses were demolished this morning by agents of Buea Council for the construction of streets to ease movement in the locality.

Educationists are pointing accusing fingers at the consumption of drugs by students for the increase juvenile deliquency in schools. In Njombe, Littoral region, a student chopped off the hand of a school mate while another in Douala used a broken bottle to wound four students.

The opulation of Youpwe is demanding the removal of their chief. They protested this day with placards calling for the removal of His Majesty Samuel Bebe whom they accuse of undertaking the illegal commercialisation of land.
