Trending news stories in Cameroon – July 21st 2021

Six persons have been confirmed dead in an accident which occured on Tuesday evening in the West Region. The accident involved a General Express bus which collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction.


CAF has scheduled the AFCON2021 draws for August 15, 2021 at the Yaoundé Conference Center. The initial draws was scheduled for June 25 before it was postponed for logistic reasons.


West Governor, Awa Fonka Augustine has cleared the air on the altercation between Hon. Nourane Fotsing and some policemen. The Governor revealed that the pair have made up and that it was a case of misunderstanding.


Two Cameroonians have been earmarked for deportation from the United Arab Emirates. The pair are said to have been found guilty of crimes which dishonour the Kingdom.
