Following the recent accident at the Dschang Cliff, many have sent warning signals to the authorities of a possible breaking of the road. A part of the road has significantly eroded and may split of not looked into, they say.

On Sunday, Christians of the PCC church in Nitop, Bamenda protested against the transfer of their pastor. The Christians marched to the Moderator’s representatives in Azire and said they were not pleased with the latest appointment and that their old pastor should be returned.

Following the sex scandals of famous sport Journalist, Martin Camus Mimb, the publishing company which was in charge of his book has suspended their contract with the Journalist with immediate effect. He also lost a gig with Brasseries du Cameroun over the same affair.

The chances of Cameroon’s Coton Sports Football Club of Garoua to qualify for the CAF Cup Final have been narrowed. The club now needs to win JS Kabylie football club of Algeria with at least three goals to one on the 27th of June to secure a ticket for the finals. Yesterday in Yaounde, JS Kabylie imposed a two goals to one defeat on the Garoua boys.


At least sixteen soldiers have been evacuated to Bamenda for treatment. The military men were attacked yesterday Sunday by separatists in Kumbo, Bui division in the North West region. Witnesses say the fighters planted an explosive that exploded and overturned a military vehicle.


Who controls the South West region of Cameroon? Government or separatist fighters? These questions have been on many lips in Cameroon as some Divisional Delegates kidnapped days ago remain in the hands of fighters. One of the delegates was killed last week while the safety of others remains uncertain. Government’s spokesperson has not issued an official statement.

Several newspapers published today Monday on the kidnap of six delegates in the South West insinuate that those who committed the act are not natives of Ndian division. Cameroon’s ministry of public health says a nationwide vaccination campaign against COVID-19 will be launched in July. Dr. Manaouda Malachie is calling on all Cameroonians from 18 years and above to get the vaccine. To some Cameroonians, members of government including the Minister of public health mismanaged 180 billion FCFA COVID-19 funds and therefore can’t pretend to care for Cameroonians.
