At least three commercial motorbike riders have been crushed to death in Yaoundé.
The motorbike riders were crushed by a speeding truck.
The bike riders are said to have been crushed at a checkpoint, few meters from Carrefour Nkolbisson.
The incident occurred on July 7, 2022.
According to sources, the three bike riders were stopped by the council police at the checkpoint when the heavy-duty truck on high speed ran into them.
A source revealed to MMI that ” three bike riders were stopped by the council police while the truck who was on high speed ran into the three of them.”
He added that “all of the lost thier lives at the same spot.”
The driver of the heavy-duty truck who took to his heels immediately after the incident, is till date at large.
Meanwhile the corpses of the three bike riders are currently being preserved at a Yaounde mortuary.
